This slide presentation outlines the 14 features of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council's (NDWAC) active and effective security program. The 14 features are divided into four categories that include: organizational; operational; infrastructure; and, collaborative. It lists Keys to Success as including:identify and develop key relationships with partnerorganizations;define security in terms of "all hazards"; and,use emergency response planning as a venue forcreating better channels for information sharing andcommunication.
