Full Description

This paper reviews the proprietary FloSearch System, a computer-based water use analyzer. The system includes instrumentation and software for conducting flow profiles on water meters. The system consists of a recorder, transmitter, and software. Flow profiling can be used to settle billing disputes, determine theft of water or leaks, size meters, selection the proper type of meter, implement demand metering for time-of-use charges, determine when to change meters, analyze peak use, or determine a rate structure.
